The Peak Completions Wet Shoe Sub allows for standard plug sets to be utilized in a desired”wet shoe” application. The Wet Shoe Sub is run just above a hydraulic landing collar. Once cement operations are complete the standard plug set will land in the Wet Shoe Sub. Pressuring up to predetermined differential pressure will cause the tool to shear down, opening the internal bypass. This will allow the operator to over displace the cement and clear the floats, leaving the desired wet shoe.
